I have a LF lav laced wyandotte chicken I hatched from an egg from a very reliable breeder. He was the only Lav out of a mixed DZ to hatch.
This chick had no issues hatching, but subsequently had splayed leg and was treated and recovered very quickly. He is strong, but is VERY small compared to his hatch mates. I'm pretty sure it's failure to thrive.
Is there anything I can do to help him along? What's the odds of a growth spurt?
