First time poster but have read many of your great posts on duck & running duck coloring / genetics. I have a US Fawn & White runner drake accidently crossed with a Chocolate blue egg running mom both from Metzer. Mom was pure chocolate but started to get white feathers each season & I have read US Fawn & Whites have Bl/Bl (the drake’s head is more silver / definitely not black) so for relevant genes, does it make sense:
Chocolate mom = E/E, bl+/bl+ d/- and r+/r+
F&W drake = e+/e+, Bl/Bl, d/d, R/R
So ducklings are E/e+, Bl/bl+, d/d(d/-), and R/r+
and Blue (Bl/bl+) and Chocolate (d/d,(d/-)) = Lavendar?
So ducklings will more or less be Lavendar pied or will the extended black win out? To me, looks like there is some multicolor going on in the ducklings-
Ducklings are 3 weeks and are just starting to feather but starting color is much more silver and lighter than mom.

I see your pictures!. Cute ducks!
Lavender is silver plus chocolate, whereas Lilac is blue plus chocolate, which is what you would get if mom is just Chocolate and has no blue genes.
