Lavender Ameraucana bantams

I ended up hatching out a few Lavender Ameraucana bantams last summer. Watched them grow up and they are now laying eggs.

Have to say... I love them! They are fast becoming my favorites.

Hard to get photos of them, with out the other chickens photo bombing. The Blue copper marans are now in the other Hen house with the big chickens.

His color is not good for a lavender, but I am keeping him for now.

One of the Lavender Hens.

The Better Rooster.

First egg.

Anyone else love these chickens too?
Do you sell chicks?? I have been looking for these guy forever

I've never owned bantams of any kind, but I am familiar with regular Ameraucanas and they are the best. Kitty is our Ameraucana roo...I swear he is reincarnated from a lap cat and acts like a human toddler. He follows you around, cooing and purring, BEGGING to be picked up and cuddled. He will sometimes jump if you don't stop what you're doing to pick him up. You then sit with him and he burries his whole face in your neck or arm pit begging for rubs. Little eyes closed in pure bliss as you rub his head and neck. He's a true character and it will be a sad, sad, VERY sad day when Kitty is no longer with us. He was hatched on my sons birthday and they are inseparable!
Edited to add: He TALKS to us, too. A literal purr and warble. Chittering and chattering. He's truly amazing and unlike any chicken I've ever known.
