The preditors all have an SOP available to know which ones taste the best.

My lavenders were a mixture of your line, Blehm and my blacks. I held back two splits from Crystal Creek two years ago.

These are not the best but it will give you an idea! I also included one from when they were younger :) I can take more when it's light again tomorrow too. the cockerel had beautiful tail feathers that were pulled out in a fight with the BO cockerel (who now is at freezer camp). Hehehehe

Jean,
All I know is I asked for some that had my blood in them. Paul didn;t say if they were of other bloodlines. He did say he had some from John's line also. I don;t know which pens your birds were in. I got from pen 4 and 11 according to him. They are toe punched. Most came from Pen 4. Now I did get two splash chicks also but don;t know if he has your blue line or not. Just wanted to have a few blues eventually.

Nice, I don't know what lines are behind bargin's birds, but those are decent birds. Hard to judge the finer details from these photos. I see you are in Michigan. One of the foremost Ameraucana breeder, John Blehm, is in MI. You might consider seeing if he has any started stock he would part with, and attending a poultry show there to sharpen your own eye.

Hi, I missed out on the Ameraucanas that were being sold at my local market through their breeder, and they aren't getting anymore for the rest of the year. Are there any breeders in Texas or who ship to Texas (it's HOT right now, so I would prefer to pick them up)? I can't for the life of me figure out how to find breeders on this forum. I have wanted ameraucanas and araucanas for years, but we only have australorps. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Google ameraucana breeders club, go to the site and you will find a list of breeders. Paul Smith is in Texas, really nice birds. However Texas is huge!
