I'm loving these cuckoo patterned lavenders! I'm hoping to keep a nice mix of both these and the regular lavenders in my flock... but I love how these look.

I'm loving them as a project because I can have several different looking birds in the same pen together, I have black splits, solid Lavender, Lavender Cuckoo and Black and White Cuckoo. Makes it much easier to work on a project when you don't have to invest in different pens. I will probably pick the two best cuckoo and do some breeding to get double barred in the spring... but that's a topic for the lavender cuckoo thread

Not the best pics. The top is the only one I have of Angela and that is from this summer when she was just a wee thing. The two bottom are of Paul and the lighting isn't great, but you can see how perfectly symmetrical his comb is. My only complaint is that they both have a bit more fluff than I would prefer.

Yes, I named them Paul and Angela.
