Lavender Ameraucana Pullet or Cockerel?

I agree that it looks like a pullet :)

It could be a pullet that's experiencing a bit of gender confusion! I read a very interesting article about this phenomenon. It's not unusual for this to occur in an all female group of chickens or ducks. Sometimes a hen will take on male behaviors and even male appearances.
Evidently mother nature has a back up plan to ensure the continuity of the species! Females are genetically capable of changing their gender! It doesn't always happen in an all female group, but when it does it can be anything from just a behavioral transformation, to a complete transformation with full reproductive capabilities! ......

Wow, thank you for making me aware of this! It 100% explains what I am experiencing in my "Blue Pen" following the passing of my beloved roo... the one hen of his breed has adopted very roo-esque behaviours (calling the other girls to the food, ending any disagreements between birds, patrolling the coop, keeping between us and the hens, etc.) I am going to be setting eggs from her this weekend to hopefully hatch a replacement cockerel... but now I wonder if she is going to fill that role herself! Off to do a ton of research I go!
