Lavender Americaunas

Ameraucanas (with an "a") in general are "rare" in the sense that they are not going to be found in your feed stores. I bought my 4-month-old pullet for $40. Part of the price will depend on the demand and quality. If they are having a hard time selling, they will go for less; if they are show birds, they will go for more; etc. Cackle is the only hatchery that has lavender Ameraucanas and they sell for $14 as straight run day old chicks. Yes, they are actual Ameraucana not Easter Egger, and they and MPC are the only hatheries that sell real Ameraucanas (not mislabeled Easter Eggers) at this point last time I checked.

Over Easy Chicken Ranch on Facebook also has them. They ship out of Queen Creek AZ (or San Diego CA in the summer). Here's a couple of their stock.

Also worth noting that lavender is not currently a recognised color in ameraucana. There is a fairly active thread of folks here at BYC working with them, though
