I have one lavender Ancona drake that I'm looking to find a new home for. He is 3 years old and has lived on my farm his entire life. I hatched him from eggs from another BYC'er. Beautiful bird, healthy, extremely hardy, great forager. This drake has been one of my favorites, but I'm selling my duck flock this summer to make room for chickens for a while. The rest of his flock has already been sold, but the person who had said he wanted this drake never came, so he's still here.
Anconas are a rare breed and this drake's coloring is also somewhat uncommon. Anconas are a great dual-purpose breed, producing high numbers of eggs (210-280 per year) and can also be used as a medium-sized meat bird.
Please let me know if you have any questions about him; I'm happy to answer them!
