I got him from our local feed store as a chick. I have been trying to get help identifying his breed but on this blog but I get different things . His legs are fatherless and yellow and he looks like a barred rock just lavender.

They look like this

I have a Lavender Orpington roo and a barred rock hen. Hatched some of their eggs, and they are 2 weeks old right now. I'll update with pictures once they get older.

If you cross a buff orphington roo with a BR hen you will get some males that look like this.

I have a Lavender Orpington rooster and barred rock hen. Hatched 3 of their eggs. One has a white dot on its head so think it is a roo. The other 2 are all black. Can't wait to see what they look like later.

They'll all be black. The male will have some white bars separating the black
