My lavenders are my best layers. I get 3-4 eggs a day from 4 hens. The egg is a small pale cream. Almost white, but not quite. The eggs have been very fertile and tough, and so far every baby has grown up the same lovely lavender as the parents.
 
Seriously someone bid so that I don't have to buy a batch and end up with 3 times as many lavender chicks as I need for the project
