On another forum there is a breeder over in the UK that is working on lavender "partridge"(light brown) dutch bantams. On a dutch website I saw lavender barred birds which looked cool.

There are a lot of silkie breeders working on lavender. They will probably be trying to get it into the standard in the next year. Beautiful birds!

Oh thanks, they are a very fun project. They aren't a recognized color yet, but I think you are going to see them more and more. There are a few people on this site with them.
