Hi, I am a beginner at keeping chickens. A couple of my hens got broody so I got them some fertile eggs. I now have nine chicks of two different ages. Two of them are Lavender leghorns.

The eldest was hatched on July 1st Can anyone tell whether it is a male or female, please?

It looks like a pullet to me, but could you get a closer veiw of the comb and wattles

Thanks everyone! I'm pleased if it's a pullet as I can't have roosters where I live. Here is a close up of the same picture anyway. I have several other chicks which are a bit of a mystery to me too so I will posting some more soon!
