I'm not located anywhere near you (or know anything about the price of your drake) but I do think he's beautiful.

Yours is gorgeous! I love his dark chocolate colors, he looks like a calm inquisitive fellow

He really is calm most of the time, but he is just starting to get sexually active and gets quite excited sometimes.

hahaha yes I have one like that too, they are in the teenage stage. Too funny! It's amazing to watch how fast they grow up, and then all the wacky things they start to do while finding their individual groove

Did You know people even debate weather or not they actually are?! Muscovies are the only domestic ducks that are not derived from Mallards.

So what do they think Muscovies are? Mini geese? Or maybe their own separate species? That's kinda cool!

Yes, some people think they're more similar to a goose than a duck. I'm not one that dives into genetics and I've never had geese so I went online and found this page.

I've always called them ducks and that's how it's going to stay!

I have Muscovy and geese and I really don’t think Muscovy are like geese I’ve had scovy since 2004 geese since 2007. Muscovy are their own species of duck and that s all they are.

Muscovy are in fact ducks. But are closely related to geese as well.
Definitely not mini geese, I have some of those

This drake is lovely. Nice an solid, no whitehead.
I would check craigslist where you are. Here, (and I am certified to ship so that helps too) I would sell a drake like this for $80, no cheaper
