Lavender or Blue Orpington Hen?

WELCOME TO BYC!

In the first pic you have a pair. In the second, yes, the longer feathered bird is a pullet. She should be fine for reproducing. And they look like lavenders to me. This is what blue orps look like

I am not questioning the young chicks being good for reproducing. With the color difference between the adult hen and the chicks, I am wondering if this darker color of lavender is desirable for the breed...
Also, it is the longer feathered chick I am questioning as a pullet, not the shorter. From what I've read, a pullet feathers quicker than cockerel...
Thanks!

I had a couple like your little ones that I got from a breeder that had the straight feathers like yours do, I also have a couple that are blue that I got from myers hatchery which sells this color and they look like your hen. All I know is lavender + Lavender = lavender chicks!

Is it possible she is a lavender blue? The colors are not exclusive.
