Lavender or Splash Ameraucana

So my chicks are about 4 months old now and upon close inspection, one of them has the same odd black feathers as my adult hen that the eggs came from. They can't be splash because the genetics just aren't there for it, right? Is there another gene that could contribute to the random black feathers on an otherwise blue hen?

I picked up these 2 lovely additions to my flock over the weekend and I was pretty sure I had 1 Blue and 1 Lavendar Ameraucana girls. Upon snuggles I notice that the one I assumed was lavender has some black feathers and ticking. Is it still possible she's lavendar or more likely that she is a very evenly colored splash? The eggs they hatched from came from cackle I think and they offer both blue and lavender colored Ameraucanas so 🤗View attachment 2521278View attachment 2521277View attachment 2521276
