Lavender Orpington - 2 Roos or Roo & Hen

I am too much of a newbie to know if my Lavender Orpington roosters are English. (The only English rooster in this New Jersey house that I'm sure of is my husband, born n raised in Dorset England. :lau) . My 2 Lavender Orpington roosters were brothers, hatched together. Marvin was about 20-21 weeks when he crowed. Roopecca was 24 weeks so compared to his brother he was a late bloomer. So...is my boy an English Orpington? How would I know?

Where did you get them from?

Could be English then. Do you have a picture?

He has pendulous crop issues and wears a bra. He is 18 months old.

He sure does have some English in him. If you like him that's all that matters. If I were breeding English Orpingtons I wouldn't use him though. He does have good color.
I won't be breeding him. He was an accidental rooster. I've nursed him through sour crop, made bras for his pendulous crop, helped him in and out of the coop. He was sweet as can be, everyone's favorite. He came into hormones and had to be corrected. He calmed down, didn't bother anyone (except hubby:hmm). Now, 18 months old he has turned into velociraptor! For the first time I'm afraid of him. :hit

Odd to hear of an aggressive Orpington. In over 10 years I've never had one.
