Lavender Orpington 4 weeks

Just curious if one of my lavs is a rooster?! Any thoughts ?? Both hatched same day but I bought straight run.

I think it's a little too early to tell, but since they are the same age, I would guess that the first one is a cockerel. Given how much larger and more developed the comb is on it.

The first one looks like a for sure cockerel. The other one you'll have to wait a little longer on. 6-8 weeks is a good time to post another picture of them.

Waiting a few more weeks will help us determine more definitely, but for an absolute certain answer, you'd have yo wait to see if male feathers began to grow. I don't remember how long that is supposed to take, but I think it is at least 4 months old by then.
