Lavender Orpington- 6 weeks- pullet/cockerel

Almost 6 weeks- ordered a pullet from hatchery.
Is it still too early?
No obvious wattles at this time. Looks like saddle feathers but isn't too soon for those?

Too early for sex-indicative saddle feathers to show yet. That comes up about 10-12 weeks (more or less depending on breed and individual).

I have two buffs and one blue, and none of them are alike! This one is my only Lavender, the one behind it is the blue who is slow to feather.

But if they're all Orpingtons the comb development should be comparable -- at least in theory.

I dont have him anymore but have his grandkid lol
