Lavender Orpington boy or girl?

This Lavender Orpington is 5.5 weeks old and purchased straight run. She/he is more vocal when separated and feathered out at the rate same as the other chicks that are pullets.

At this point, they look like a pullet. Usually at 5 weeks you can already start to tell a difference in comb size and color. Looks like my 3 pullets (now 13 weeks) when they were that age. Not the same breed, but the combs and waddles looked exactly the same as yours.

As of now she looks like a Pullet! Some chickens just have that personality, and as far as I can se she is going to be a beautiful hen!!

Yep….looks like a pullet! I have one that is 11 weeks old. They are beautiful. Enjoy
