I don't have eggs yet, but I am planning on doing a St. Patrick's day hatch-a-long Setting eggs on Feb 24th 2025. They will be Lavender Orpingtons from a friend's farm, some for me and some for him.

I am just starting my incubator with a full load today!! It only holds 9, so small for most incubators!! Count me in to join the Hatch a Long!

Fun. Mine will go in on Monday, but I currently have a sweethearts hatch going. 4 eggs were set on Valentines, but 2 are still going because of the cold weather. Three days later I set 4 more just so they could have friends. 6 currently developing. (These are not LO though.)

I’m setting tomorrow. 25 BBS marans, 25 BBS Ameraucana x blue Marans (he’s from a bbs pen) and however many slots are left I will be filling with white Plymouth Rock X black Ameraucana (he’s from a bbs pen) and 6 from a white Easter egger I got in a batch of wild type Easter eggers X black Ameraucana.
