Lavender Orpington Project PAIR - 5 weeks old- Sacramento

Sweet 5 week old LOP pair
They have new genes as their mom was a Black/lav gene Orp and their Dad as lav/lav LOP.
Of course both birds are now lav/lav.
I do not want to ship. I'm in Sacramento. Pick-up or meet up reasonable distance from home only.

Where did you get your stock? Do you have pictures of the parents?

ETA: I'm outside of Auburn.

They will breed true to lav/lav from now on unless you cross them back to Black Orp partners
then you have a 50/50 chance of lav but will breeding in new genes and orp standard
they are gentle sweet birds
I have 2 of them out in my coop as well.
Auburn would be great, nice and close!

I'll try to remember to get current pics of the parents today. The daddy is light lav with a nice comb. The mama is black split lav. I think she is the one in this pic, with the lav hen.

Hi folks
I had to travel for work this week. I'll check back this evening as I'm in meetings all day.
Hence no pics of the 5 week olds
they will be 6 week old by the time I get home
they do not seem to have an ugly phase.
