Lawn care and backyard ducks and chickens

Okay, so my husband insist on spraying our huge lawn to kill weeds. Also weed and feed on a regular basis. I don't let the birds out until a long time after spraying, but now I don't know if I can eat the eggs... They haven't started laying yet, but could be anyday. Any information appreciated.

That is why I never spray my yard. Don't want to take the chance my birds get sick or I do from eating the eggs.

Awww that's a shame too since most of the weeds are actually the beneficial stuff for our birds, like dandelion, clover, chickweed etc...Sorry I do not know the answer to your question tho. Hopefully someone will come along that does.
