Laws in Suffern, NY (Rockland County)

I live in Suffern, NY and I'm thinking about getting just a few chickens next spring if possible. I'm having trouble figuring out if there are any local laws that apply to me, any advice on where to look? Thanks!

Did you ever get any information on this? I too want to get a few chickens for my backyard, but I'm new to the area and not sure where to look for this information. I've sent a request to the village for a copy of the Village Code but have so far been unsuccessful..
