Layer Feed

Is it harmful to feed male ducks layer feed? I only have one male and one female together. Don't want to buy separate feed, figure out how to feed them separately, etc. unless I really need to. But I will, if I really need to.

You can feed an all flock or flock raiser ration and provide oyster shell in a separate bowl. The female will eat what she needs of the oyster shell and the male won't be getting excess calcium.
