Layer feed.

Hi. My chickens are 15 wks old and I got my first egg. Shell was very soft. I picked up layer feed to start and noticed it says don't feed prior to 18 wks. Does it matter that they are 15 wks? Comets are starting to get red. Bard rock red face. Buffs and archanas haven't gotten red in the face yet. Thank you

yes its fine mine are a little younger but they are eating layer food its fine I have done it before it wont hurt them.
