Should I have my chickens on layer feed before or after they start laying? If I have to do it before they start laying, atwhat age?

@chickenmaster10 It's up to you. We started giving them layer feed at 18 weeks and didn't have any problems whatsoever. It's all a personal preference. Birds don't have to have layer feed in order to lay, so you could wait until they all start laying. As I said, it's up to you. Don't let anyone force you to do it one way or the other.
