Layer feeds

Not a good idea to buy feed in bulk as it is important to be consumed within a month or so of purchase to benefit from all the nutrients. Vitamins etc start to break down over time and there is the chance of mites or moulds etc degrading the feed if it is kept longer.

x2! Feed should be eaten within six weeks or so of the mill date if at all possible, so bulk purchases don't make sense.
I usually buy feed at TSC, either in Williamston or Milford. It's fresh there usually. Find a feed store nearby that works for you!
