My brooder house has hardware cloth floor,my little hens(1 month old)love to bill (waste lol) there food out of the feeder on to the bedding, and eventually falls to the dirt floor in my barn, then my laying hens come around and eat it,
I feed my 1 mo. olds 18%MFM Starter/Grower crumbls Medicated for Coccidiosis(spelling???)

Is it ok if my hens get allitle of that??

Most medicated chick feed has Amprolium which is not an antibiotic and has no withdraw time for eggs, so it's fine.

Yep, its amprolium...My hens love chick starter better than they do thier layer feed..lol
They get up in the morning and go to thier feeder take a couple bites and say "ehy, same old same old nasty stuff",
then i go to get the chick starter for my chicks all my layers perk up and i have to be careful not to step on any chickens, cuz they keep jumping up to peck at the bucket in my hand lol..
