Layer "pellets?" Purina?

So I went to get my first bag of layer feed today.... (my 17 weekers surprised me with two eggs yesterday!!!), but my normal feed brand has layer "crumbles." I don't want that (there was a bag broke open, and I saw it was the same looking as the grower feed they waste!)...they are already making a huge wasting mess with their grower crumbles. I want pellets. But, I don't really know what the pellets look like (I'm envisioning what my horses' pelletted feed looks like, or my rabbits' pellet food), but I want pellets...hoping they'll make less mess. So I went to a different store, was going to pick up the Purina Layena (spelling?) but was in a hurry...I may have missed it...but didn't see where it said if it was pellets or not? Is the Purina Layena a pelletted feed? I didn't grab it, I was late for a dr. appt, but was going to look into it and go back and get it later.

Thanks!
Angie

I think I can safely say that every brand makes a pellet version. It will say it on the little tag on the end of the bag whether it is pellets or crumbles. To answer your question, yes, purina sells egg layer pellets. I have definately seen alot less waste using pellets. Good luck.
