layer ration vs turkey ration for laying hens during winter

i have lots of 22% turkey feed left over this year. would it be healthy to give my layers the turkey ration for increased protein over the winter with supplemental calcium powder and egg shells/oyster shells for egg integrity?

It won't be a big problem but I would mix it with a 16% layer feed so their total intake would be 19%. Or better yet mix layer with turkey 2:1. You be the judge.
