Laying and breeding

When do muscovys lay their eggs? I bought two mummy muscovys with their 18 ducklings. The ducklings are now 9 weeks old. How often and when do ducks lay their eggs? Also, can inbreed with ducks?

I find this varies for when they return after having a clutch some return quite quickly within a month others takes longer. They can breed with mallard derived but this results in sterile birds(offspring)

Ok. So if the brothers and sisters breed their babies wouldn't be able to breed but they can still lay eggs? I haven't fond any eggs as yet from the mummy ducks. All 18 ducklings are still with the mummy ducks. Will they always be fine to stay as a group or would I need to seperate them at some point? I'm all new to this and don't know the technical terms and names.
