Laying egg

Hi I have a black copper maran hen she is 6 months old and she laid one egg and the stopped .. is that normal

How long ago did she lay it? It isn't unusual for early egg laying to be irregular (either in timing and/or quality/size of the egg).

She laid it 3 weeks ago one egg and then stopped so far no eggs any more..and she is now 7 months old !

That is rather odd. Does she free range during the day? If so, she may be laying outside of nest boxes, likely in a hidden location. There may be a whole stash of them somewhere.

Is she in a coop/run enclosure, or does she free range?

Well she use to be free range but due to the weather we r in zone 6 and it’s really odd weather like today it’s warm and the other is snowy so I’m keeping them in the coop and the run since she laid the only one egg.. and I really keep watching if she hide it somewhere in the coop and nothing.. this hen really drive me crazy.. this is first season for her must laying more..might she is sensitive for the crazy weather in KY !!?

She in enclosure run..and we don’t have eating egg problem ever.. other girls laying with no problem just her !

My silver hamburg and my leghorn laid for about a month and then quit. At this point, I'm chalking it up to the winter. They're both still eating fine, behaving as normal... So I'm waiting to see what happens when the days get longer. It could very well be the shorter winter days.

She might be laying them in hidden spots. If she free ranges outside then she layed them in a corner.
