Laying eggs in duck hutch

I'm new to this whole duck thing, so I have a few questions! I know there are ways to encourage free range chickens to lay eggs in their coop. Are there ways to encourage ducks to do the same? We let the ducks roam our yard, but I prefer not to have to go on an egg hunt everyday. Any ideas?

My ducks lay in the coop I have never had them lay outside. mine tend to lay in the morning and I let them and the chickens out 10 or after.

mine lay their eggs before 7 am generally. I let them out between 7am and 7:30 am, and the eggs are most always already laid. Once in a while one lays late in the run, but it is a rare occurance
