Laying eggs on wet ground AND in the pool!

Ok, The eggs on wet poopy ground was bad enough, but now I found one in the bottom of their kiddie pool. They can't be fit to eat can they? uggghh. All I know is I don't have any desire to eat them. I will be adding another nest today.....

My friend went to the Lake for the weekend here awhile back and as I was tending his animals I found an egg in the pool! We threw it away because I didnt know how long it had been there! I was hoping to see some comments on this subject!
