laying feed and pullets

hi

i have a flock of 12 11 hens and i rooster
the pullets are 4 to 5 to 6 months old
4 of the are laying will it hurt the others pullets to eat layer and oyster

At this age, the pullets can all be feed layer without significant risk of damage

That used to be my problem being that I have only 4 - 6 pullets.....I'd start with a 50# bag of Chick Starter that would last forever (I ferment). After reading threads on BYC, I converted to Flock Raiser. I start my chicks off on a 10# bag of chick starter, once done they eat FR & I add a dish of Oyster Shells when they start laying. So much less feed to buy
