Laying feed and setup also send photos of your setups

Ok so I’m planning to buy a few conturnix quail and I’m wondering can you give them game bird starter to make them lay or do they need something else I keep reading articles and there all over the place I already raise bobwhite quail do they need game bird feed to lay eggs also another question do conturnix quail do better in a rabbit hutch in terms of laying and breeding or a laying cage?

I keep my quail in rabbit stackers and give them layer crumble once they're laying since they need the calcium. I feed game starter until they start laying

The chicks need high protein (28-30%), but adults should get around 20%. Layers will need a calcium source, so you can feed them layer feed with about 3.5% calcium, or you can provide calcium on the side in the form of crushed oyster or egg shells. Make sure they're crushed down to quail bit size.

I keep mine in pens on the ground. They have 2-3 square feet per bird.

Chicken layer feed is generally 16%, so I'm assuming that they're feeding a game layer
