I need to downsize, baby on the way, in this group there will be 3 buff orp hens, 2 of them 3yrs old, still laying good and 1 of them 2 yrs old. The two of them (with black in her tail, Penny) is very broody, usually likes to raise a couple broods a year. The largest one (the 2 yr old, aka, Ginger) also broods very well. The last one (with white in her tail, Goldie) has never brooded but is the best of the orp layers, gave 6 to 7 eggs a week In her pullet year.
Also included will be the Brahma flock, a sport of a new color, it was great for someone like me who liked to play around with genetics and experiment with new feather colors. One yellow Columbian Roo and his hens, a golden Columbian. The crosses from incubated eggs make a combination of more goldens, the pattern we term as dark for the brahma breed, as well as the beautiful yellow Columbian color. Have 3 hens, 2 yrs old and a pullet just hatched summer of 2013. Live in western PA
