Laying irregularity *** Update Page 2***

UPDATE : OK so I got my 2nd egg on the 27th (saturday). It was smaller than the first ???? Well, the first was a double yolker...but a medium sized egg..odd.
Now its July 1st (wendsday) and no 3rd egg as of yet. What is going on???? Is this normal? I'm SO confused!

It takes new layers a while to get the egg factory up & running smoothly. They don't yet recognize that "gotta go" sensation, and their young bodies aren't quite adept at making sure every egg passes the quality control. I found eggs dropped from the roost and shell-less eggs, too. It'll get regulated within a few weeks, if not sooner.
