Our Gals have been happily laying in their nesting boxes for months & all of a sudden they are 'holding it' until we let them out [they are pretty free range] - now they sprint for the bushes or a planter in front of our house. They act crazy when they are 'cooped up' & refuse to lay until we let them out... i can't think of anything significant that has changed that would cause this? any ideas? keep them in? wooden eggs?

I just posted on "fake egg" thread that I use my "nest eggs" when my girls need to be reminded to lay in the nesting boxes. It seems to help my girls remember the rules.
