Laying soon?

i bought my barred rock pullets feb 25 I think they were a week or two old already. Do you think they will be laying soon? Also what about my blue Andalusian? My rooster is mounting them and they let him and if I pet them they will squat down. I have one barred that we have to help off the roost. Is that anything to do with her getting close to laying?

It appears they have nice red combs, a good omen. Squatting is another positive sign.

One more thing you can check is their pelvic points. Feel on either side of the vent. These protruding knobs grow farther apart the closer the pullet gets to point of lay. When you can fit two fingers between them, eggs will be soon in coming.
