Do you ever take a day off? Today, I just wanted a day of doing nothing. I wanted air conditioning, t.v. and a beer, and a lack of animal poop. Don't get me wrong, I've fed all the animals and check their water every few hours. I just don't feel like doing the million other things I should be doing, like cleaning the goat pens and building coop #2, weeding the garden, cleaning the house.... Why can't I enjoy it. I'm just sitting here thinking about all this stuff and feeling guilty. Is a day off so wrong? It would be easier, but my BF is working, as usual. He never wants a day off. Somebody, please tell me you're being lazy too.

Sitting here on my fanny with ya.

I did do some work this morning, but it's too hot out there to do much now. I figure it will all still be waiting for me when I get around to it.

Ahhhh, taking a day off.....yes, what a great idea. I did that once....I think it was in 1990 something!?? For me...it just doesnt work, to NOT work. I get behind..and takes twice as long to get caught up? Why am I on the computer you ask!?? LOL
Well...chickens, turkeys, hogs and dogs...all fed and watered ( several times already) garden weeded early this morning...I have one of our Cornish cross soaking getting ready for supper...I just added hard boiled eggs, to the fresh canned pickled beets I did yesterday ( these are for supper tonight) I have already snapped the fresh green beans and have them in simmer...and...I pulled a few new potatos...to go in with the green beans. I think I have a little while, before the next load of laundry goes on the line...so yeah, im waiting on the washer to stop...thats MY excuse for being online! LOL

sitting here being lazy too.

My hubby is working today and I need to clean the house and do the laundry. But alas, I'm posting on BYC...

To my credit, I did move peafowl cages around and fed everything on the farm.
