Another problem. My new desktop came with already installed Open Office..I hate it! I tried to save an online test result today so I could send it to my instructor and I cant copy and paste into an email..or save it and send as an attachment (I sent it to myself so I could test if it opened and it was gibberish)
I am going round in circles and have a headache already....Please help!

Outlook is just a program that collects your mail from you. Who is your email address with? For instance if you have an @gmail.com email address then your POP would be "pop.gmail.com" (no quotes) and your SMTP would be "smtp.gmail.com". Your incoming server port would be 995 and outgoing server port would be 587. You'd put your email address/username in the settings where required and you'd also have to enable POP mail on the gmail server also.
If you've got Yahoo mail they don't allow you to collect your mail with your own email program unless you pay for Yahoo Plus. There's thousands of free email addresses out there that do allow you to though.
Edit: I meant to add-you can do a google search for "POP gmail" or "POP yahoo mail" or whatever domain your email address is with to find out individual settings. I'll help you if you need help.

If you google how to set it up, there are step by step instructions.

I have a few different email address all combined in WindowsMail (pop smtp etc)

There is another program called Soft Maker Office you may want to try. I use Open Office and sometimes I have to save the file and then open Open Office and then go to File and open and find it that way...although some it never opens right.

Go into account setting or mail setup, it'll be called something like that, and there'll be an option to remove or delete the Yahoo account. There will also be an option to add an account and you can ad your gmail account there. Before it will collect your mail you'll have to go to gmail.com on the web and go into the settings there and under "POP and forwarding" scroll down and check the "enable POP for mail". If you understand the basics you might set up IMAP mail instead of POP. IMAP will transfer your folder from gmail and everything.
