I’ve not heard of this brand or feed (I’m in Minnesota), my first thought is it looks pretty. BUT… I think it’s going to drop your protein lower than you may want. I’m guessing your current layer crumble is around 16-17%? This El Cantor will drop it even lower at 14%. I’m sure others with more experience will chime in soon!

I've never seen that brand before but some of those grains look really nice. I would not count this as sole food but as an extra. I sprinkle scratch around and let them forage and find it rather than just open bowl feeding for these types but they're crumble is in a feeder. I have very spoiled birds they always have food available and always get goodies. Sprinkled scratch and they get fruits. I find mine like cantaloupe more than watermelon.

Yes we are only using it as treat. Thanks for all the advice. We thought it would be better than purina scratch and its cheaper. 20 dollars for 50 pounds. Looks lime it is only distributed here in California and Arizona. Leach also makes basically the same thing in a 17% protein and I think its their Colorado HiOctane.
