I need to figure out how to get rid of these things. They swarm like army ants, and clean out a feed dish faster than my birds. I want to go natural, but need a nuclear option. I have countless small mounds, but found two 30-40 footers towards the back of the property.
They don't eat the feed, apparently. They use it to culture a fungus that they feed on, so traditional poisons won't work, anyway. They sheared everything off of a 20'chinese tallow tree in two days. They don't seem to bother my animals, at least. Recommendations? Please and thank you.
