These are the feathers coming in on some of my D'Uccles. They are supposed to be Mille Fleur and one Porcelain. I did read that they won't get their correct color until their first adult molt. But does the coloring look right for Mille Fleur at all? It seems to me maybe they are a little too light colored and have some blue in them. I would love help from someone who is familiar with this breed. I LOVE the little porcelain!

The first two pics look just like my little Mille Fleur d'Uccles that I hatched out last weekend, so I would say it is right!

yep, top 2 r both millies and bottom one is porcelain look just like my babies when they hatch from my girls except mine r red like second pic not yellowish chicks like ur top pic. porcelain should have a lavander/cream color to it as it grows. millies will get more red and spotted as they grow and r a little older too.

they look right except the light color of the top chick to me but i have got eggs in hatched the same color and they were still millies and fine now that older, they look normal.

i can't tell from the pic but if the top has a blueing, it maybe a millie from a millie x porcelain breeding. porcelain is a millie with the lavander gene.

d'uccles r a great breed to raise, i love ours, they r very gentle and sweet. u will enjoy them they r a geat breed to have!

The first 2 look like mille fleurs and the third one is a porcelain. They won't have they're correct coloring until at least theire first molt, although you may see the pattern emerging before then.
