This is a juvenile grey drake, but see how his wing bar is completely blue all the way across? That's how hers *should* look, but instead she is partially hiding a blue gene... thus your pastel duckling... :)

Oh wow! Yes. Big difference. I never really noticed that before. Thanks! It's probably not what people look for in a *show* bird but I think the different possibilities for offspring is totally awesome. It's a happy accident lol

Safeguard liquid for goats, best stuff... Ivermectin Pour On for the external parasites... or injectable Ivermectin, it can be given orally... yep, just keep spraying them/her down...

Or grandparents, or further back... breeding greys and blue fawns together is quite common, carrying hidden blue, not so much, lol...

*show bird* no, it would be a fault... but for pets or project, very neat... that's why I still run a mixed flock right now, new colors and patterns keep popping up that people like and want... once I get what I want, I can breed them separately until color breeds true... :D
 
Checked Lexi all over for any creepy crawly s. Don't see anything. Bet it's just because shes not bathing then. I bet when she gets used to seeing the others do it she will decide to join in.:)
 
Poor Memphis just wants a girl friend. Ralph y won't let him have thea, and the new girls hate him so far. His pick up lines are not very good. . they include grabbing someone by the neck and trying to jump on their back without even saying hello first. And then hanging on while she tries to get away. Geesh. How rude.

Hey Lexi finally went for a swim this morning! Also the wing trembling has calmed down a lot since I last posted here. Now if they would all just get along. Seems that thea is getting more aggressive towards them instead of less.
