Spend lots of time in the forums reading threads, read the highly rated articles on topics you wish to learn about then decide on breeds and your coop site and build your coop and run FIRST and then get your chickens. That will put you far ahead of most of the newbies who get chickens and then run into every problem imaginable. Have fun here and ask all the questions you want.
