I have four chicks that are five weeks old. SL Wayandottes. I decided I wanted chickens and
did a lot of reading but jumped into ordering chicks to quickly. I realize now that my hatchery chicks are not going to look anything like the beautiful pictures I've seen of the breed. They are very friendly and I am very attached. I hope they will be good layers. Lol
I would like to be able to buy pullets that would be good representitives of the breed. I understand that quality will cost more but don't want to make another mistake. How do you find a breeder that has good blood lines?
Any help would be appreciated.
