We are a family new to chickens. Our home is on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi. Currently we have leased a 10 acre home/farm and are starting to learn about raising chickens. So far we have raised 2 batches of day old chicks. Currently there are 6 laying hens (buff orph, and Easter-eggers), 10 10 week old buff's and 4 guinnea hens. I joined the forum to enhance our chicken raising education. Thanks to everyone who offers the awesome advice found on this site. It really helped us get started in the right direction!
