Mine run for cover, usually under the trailer rain or snow I have to go out and get them in the coop. Sometimes carrying them as they don't want to get wet.
So carry like a football bent over. My girls are girly girls. Lol

Wow my chicken hates the rain so I'm shocked so many like it. When my chicken misbehaves I pick up the hose (turned off) and point it at her and she hurries away.

If a drop of rain hits my hens, they run for the coop! They do not like to be outdoors in the rain. I even have one hen that lifts her feet up and walks hysterically if she steps in mud. -won't have any part of it!

My girls don't mind the rain at all. (I am in NSW, Australia) even in summer time the walk under the sprinkler as if it isn't there.

My two Americaunas love the rain! I was surprised the first time I saw them standing out in the rain. I expected them to stand under their covered area, but they stood right out in it. ;-) Ruby and Cleopatra were named for their markings. When Cleopatra was a chick she looked like she had loads of Egyptian eye make up, and Ruby was mostly red, so that's how they got their names.
They are spoiled and are an amazing delight! They each lay a beautiful blue green egg a day, and are constant entertainment.
